Meet The Team
Hannah Williams
Hannah’s journey with Proton Foundation began in 2014 as an Executive Assistant, but her heart for transformation quickly led her to take on more. In 2021, she stepped into the role of CEO, bringing with her an unwavering passion for seeing young people thrive, flourish, and reach their full potential.
With over 20 years of experience in community and church youth work—both as a volunteer and in leadership—Hannah has dedicated her life to creating spaces where young people feel seen, valued, and empowered. At home, Hannah and her husband Jay navigate life’s adventures with their amazing children, who keep them laughing, learning, and occasionally on their toes! In her downtime, she enjoys catching up with friends, getting lost in a good book, and exploring the outdoors on long walks.
Her heart beats for practical, tangible change in young lives. She often asks: “Imagine if we could equip young people to be everything they’re meant to be… what might they become?”
Phil Mann
As Project Manager, Phil is passionate about building genuine connections. His people-centred approach ensures that every programme, partnership, and initiative is driven by real relationships and meaningful impact.
With experience in community work and youth development, Phil thrives on bringing people together and empowering teams. He loves creating spaces where individuals can dream big, and step into their full potential.
At home, Phil is a proud dad to two adorable children—who, according to him, have inherited his legendary sense of humour. He firmly believes he’s the funniest person ever (though his family might say otherwise!). When he’s not working, you’ll find him spending time with loved ones, sharing a laugh, and investing in the people around him.
For Phil, it’s all about relationships, encouragement, and making a lasting difference.
Caroline Stokes
Caroline is originally from Hertfordshire but now calls Nuneaton home. With a background in administration and buying roles across various companies, she brings a wealth of experience to The Proton Foundation, helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Caroline is especially passionate about empowering girls to grow into confident, strong women who know their worth.
Currently on maternity leave, Caroline is embracing a new and exciting chapter as the proud mum to her baby boy. Alongside her foundation work, she wears another creative hat as a wedding florist, bringing beauty and joy to special moments with her love for flowers.
When she’s not juggling spreadsheets or floral arrangements, you’ll find Caroline soaking up precious family time, enjoying a Sunday afternoon nap or dreaming up new ways to inspire and encourage others.
Phoebe Goslin
Phoebe is a vital part of the Proton Foundation team, generously giving her time a couple of days a week to help with all things admin. From organising mailing lists to collating statistics, her logical mindset and eye for detail bring invaluable support to the team.
But there’s much more to Phoebe than spreadsheets and stats! She has a huge love for LEGO and can often be found working on intricate builds. Most recently, she completed a personal project—building and decorating her very own bass guitar, bringing creativity and precision together in true Phoebe style.
She also has a wormery, which perfectly reflects her knack for both logic and sustainability. Whether she’s problem-solving in the office, bringing a LEGO masterpiece to life, or looking after her wiggly composting crew, Phoebe brings a unique and valuable energy to the team.
Charlotte Howell
Born and raised in Leicestershire (and still holding strong!), Charlotte brings tenacity, organisation, and a heart for change to The Proton Foundation. With a background in the motor vehicle trade, she has spent the last 10 years mastering customer service, sales, and administrative roles, equipping her with a sharp eye for detail and a solutions-driven mindset.
Charlotte has always been a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, but becoming a parent gave her the push to be part of real change—protecting children, championing their well-being, and helping them become the best version of themselves. Her ability to keep things on track, stay focused, and bring clarity to the chaos makes her an invaluable part of the team—especially for Phil, who benefits greatly from her organisational superpowers!
Charlotte brings determination, heart, and a whole lot of value to everything she does.
